Together

Many hands together

I want to take a moment and brag on my fellow Revolutionaries for just moment.  So, if you are not a regular at Revolution Church, please forgive me as get a little mushy here.  I can’t help it I am just a BIG teddy bear.

Anyways, let me get to it.  Over the last few weeks I have been blown away by the spirit of unity that has been present in our church family.  There are many signs of this unity, but I just want to touch on a few.

First, the UPRISING band and crew is on fire.  These guys have been rocking it out on Wednesday nights.  Besides all of that these guys have spent their own time hanging speakers, running sound cables and drafting plans for a killer worship platform.  As a result of their hard work and God’s grace, our student ministry has grown.  It has grown around 50% this year, which is faster than any ministry in our church.  I can’t wait to see what’s next for our students.

Second, I have seen more folks connecting and diving deeper into community.  I know it can be pretty scary getting to know folks for the first time, especially when you have to walk into someone’s home you don’t know.  However, I want to say that it is paying off.  I mean paying off BIG.

Third, several folks in our church family are dreaming about and starting new ministries.  God is birthing more ministry right now than any other time in the life of our church family.  Some of the things that are about to be started are going to really change lives.

As a result of this unity, I believe that Revolution Church is standing at the edge of a mighty move of God.  I have always believed that God had BIG things planned for Revolution.  I believe it more now than ever before.  What about you?  Take a moment and share your thoughts in the comment section below.

“And day by day, attending the temple together and breaking bread in their homes, they received their food with glad and generous hearts, 47 praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to their number day by day those who were being saved.” – Acts 2:46-27 (ESV)

  1. I agree! I think there are big things in store. I have been encouraged by the fact that we seem to be praying for each other more in recent months as well! And that Uprising band, those folks are awesome. So thankful for their leadership, as well as the leadership of the teachers. (And of course, that of our elder team, children’s ministry and other ministries as well.)
